FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
I’ve never done a photoshoot before. Will you help me pose?
Absolutely. Most of my clients are not professional models, and you don’t need any experience in front of the camera. My sessions are guided in a natural and relaxed way, with soft direction focused on movement, emotion, and creating moments that feel effortless rather than overly posed.
How would you describe your photography style?
My work is cinematic, nostalgic, and softly editorial. I’m inspired by vintage imagery, analog film, muted tones, natural emotion, and timeless simplicity. I focus on creating photographs that feel intimate, atmospheric, and emotionally honest.
What should I wear for the session?
After booking, I’ll send a styling guide with recommendations that align with my visual aesthetic. I always encourage timeless, minimal, and comfortable pieces with natural textures and soft tones that photograph beautifully.
Can you help choose a location?
Yes — I’m happy to help select a location that fits the mood and feeling of the session. Whether it’s a studio, an urban setting, open nature, or somewhere more personal, I always focus on finding spaces with beautiful light and atmosphere.
What is your editing style?
My editing style is inspired by analog film and cinematic color grading. I focus on soft contrast, natural skin texture, muted tones, and timeless edits that feel authentic rather than overly retouched.
I’m nervous in front of the camera. What if I feel awkward?
Feeling nervous is completely normal. My goal is to create a calm and comfortable environment where you can simply exist in the moment. The best photographs often come from natural movement, conversation, and quiet in-between moments rather than perfect posing.
Do you photograph couples and personal brands as well?
Yes — alongside portrait sessions, I also photograph couples and personal brand imagery with the same cinematic and emotional approach.
How long does it take to receive the final gallery?
Final galleries are typically delivered within 2–2,5 weeks depending on the season and session type.
How do I book a session?
You can reach out through the contact form on my website or by email. Once we discuss the details and choose a date, a signed contract and retainer officially secure your session.
Where are you based, and do you travel?
I’m based in North Carolina and available for travel depending on the project and location.
